I've been having these symptoms lately. They are annoying me in some ways and affecting my life.

I get so worn out, sleepy, etc. by late morning daily. From then on, I started showing signs of sleepiness, and stuff. Yawning, falling asleep, etc. There's a total lack of energy and concentration. I couldn't concentrate on what I'm doing and it's terrible.

Lately, chest pains became more obvious to me and it hurts when I breathe in deep [due to shortness of breath] or sneeze. And sometimes, my heart or the left side of my chest hurts when as my heart beats. Like, every 2 beats of something, I feel a sharp pain. Then after a few seconds or minutes, it stops.

It is hard for me to fall asleep even after listening to music. I feel very very tired, but hard to sleep. But I'll just fall asleep later. Then sometimes, I may end up waking up during midnight. Last night was the worst. I couldn't sleep after I woke up during midnight until 2 hours later. Then, I'll just wake up rather early in the morning, despite waking up in the midnight or sleeping late. Of course, I'll feel tired when I wake up.

Sometimes, I'll have very very slight rash, like redness on my skin and will be itchy. Then after awhile it subsides.

Currently, I'm very worried about my pile of homework. It's the holidays here and yet I haven't have a good rest. I've been busy with my commitments. Because of all those symptoms, I couldn't do my homework. The lack of energy and concentration are the main causes. When I try doing, I realised I forgot everything I learnt in the past few months. That's never a case for me last time. Then I may start getting so upset that I couldn't remember everything. I'm afraid that I must start studying everything that I learnt in the past few months all over again. I'm left with 2 - 3 days next week to complete this whole pile of homework. At this rate that I'm going, I'm not going to finish the homework. ))):  The rest of this week and some days next week I'll be busy the whole day, hence, I won't be able to do the homework. Ahhhh.. I'm doomed. )):

Any advice? thanks.

Hi,

I bumped your previous post to the top as you seem to be having some of the same symtoms.  Please reread the posts by members and see if any of the many responses would relate to this new fatigue and chest pain.

I hope you have seen a physician.

Gentle Hugs.

Respectfully

Hey there! I can say I TOTALLY relate to the fatigue and chest pain. Now, allow me to say that I haven't yet gone to the doctor during this round of panic and anxiety issues. I was actually diagnosed 8 years ago. It has been extremely mild over the years, until recently, which is why I came to this board.

Anyway, as I said, I can TOTALLY relate to what you are going through. My new panic flare started right around 2 months ago. In this past 2 months, my sleeping habits have totally changed. I use to stay up late, now I am in bed around 10, and at the latest midnight, and believe it or not, even the midnight is early for me. I am tired throughout the day, having NO energy what so ever. Sleeping and the want to sleep is my new best friend, and worst enemy at the same time! As for the chest pains, mine aren't exactly the same as yours, but they are there, and similar. I generally get them upon waking up. I don't have them right when I wake up, I get them moments after I wake up when I find myself wondering why I don't have the pains yet. Then, they are there. Anyway, my chest pains are more of a discomfort. They generally hang on the left side near my rib, but are sometimes in the middle, and often times along my entire collar bone. They are pretty constant, and annoying, and scary, and they overall just suck.

I may not be exactly the same as you, but I have decided to tell you my story, becasue I know I find comfort when someone comes to me saying they are feeling what I am feeling.

Anyway, hang in there. And, have you gone to a doctor yet?

Best wishes to you! :)

Thanks for your replies.

To stkitt: Thanks for bringing up the previous post. I thought of posting there but I thought probably I won't get a reply. =X So, I've decided to start a new one. I haven't seen a physician yet. I'm still waiting for the clinic to call me about my appointment with the psychiatrist. There's nothing wrong with my abdomen. From the Urea Breath Test, it showed that there's nothing wrong and probably I just have a sensitive stomach.

To TammyGrl0528: Thanks for sharing your story with me. Indeed, it made me feel better. Actually, at the moment, I'm more concern about how am I going to complete those homework. >< It's making me anxious and worried. I kept trying to do them but I just couldn't. Anyway, I hope you'll be better soon too. Regarding whether I've seen a doctor yet, I've seen the clinic doctor and he referred me to a psychiatrist. However, like stated above, the clinic has yet to inform me about the appointment details.

I am sorry that you have to wait so long. That isn't wonderful news. But, at least you have an appointment, and will be seen. So, that is one bright side to look at, right?

Anyway, good luck to you with the appointment, you will have to let us know how it goes! GOOD LUCK TO YOU! And until your appointment, hang in there. Come here, and chat with us, and try to pull yourself through. You will be able to do it, I am sure!!!

Hey there, "mom" here. (hehehe)

I'm sorry to read that you are not feeling well.  Waiting to see the doctor and especially waiting for results are the worst! (for me anyway) It's hard to tell if your symptoms are completely due to anxiety.  I hope that they are.  You may need to see a pulmonary specialist if the chest pains and shortness of breath continues.

It does appear however, that you are stressed out.  Maybe you are putting too much on yourself.  Try to take it easy for a bit and enjoy.

Wish you all the best and try not to think how far off your appointment is but rather think that it is just right around the corner!

Best wishes  yeah

Hi 'mom'. (: You're great!

Waiting to see the doctor and waiting for the results are the worst things to me as well. The doctor said that my lungs are perfectly fine. Hence, he wrote in the referral letter to the psychiatrist:

Provisional diagnosis: Anxiety

Indeed, I'm a bit of being too hard on myself. But from the time that I couldn't do my homework, I've been relaxing to a certain extent. At this moment, I doubt I can enjoy. I tried. But everytime I kind of start to enjoy, the thought of the homework freaks me out.

Anyhow, thanks 'mom'! I enjoy talking to you. I wish my mom is like you. =X

love,
Jaslyn
