Sorry , I posted a new post instead of adding onto another. redface

While I'm here though, I've started on the Ashton method of wdr from clonazepam but has anyone tried what the supplier recommends. decreasing every 3 days by .125mgs?

I swapped my dose to 3 x a day and find I'm sleeping 12hrs at night and am still tired all day. Would going back to a nightly dose and using the above method with some valium prn work better for my body. Currently I'm down to 1.25mg per day and 5mgs of valium with the night dose just because the plan says so.

Dear Aussie,

I was on a whopping dose of the ativan so the Valium is working for me and Ashton has lots of studies and resources to back up her method.

I never tried the supplier's suggestion but that is not to say you and your physician cannot choose to.

I hope you find the best one for you. I admire you for wanting to decrease the usage and see how you do.

Thanks Kitt,

I'm going to mix the methods around to find the one that suits me best. Over the last 4 days I've cut back from 1.5mg to 1mg a day. I removed the nightly part so I'm just now waiting to see if I get a bad withdrawal. At night now I take my anti d and Zyprexa so I'm hoping the zyprexia may help with the withdrawal, if not I'll be straight onto the valium.

My withdrawals normally don't hit till about day 5 so I'm going to wait a week to see how I fair and not go down again until I've got through the withdrawal. I guess if the night one goes well I might swap each of the day tablets to night and then withdraw, I'll just have to wait and see.

My hubbies gone back to work today, I was in hospital then he had 2 weeks off so it's my first time alone in soooo long. My minds already trying to scare me and I just got a call from my doctor saying they need to see my little girl after she'd had some tests as they found something. They're seeing her tomorrow and while my logical brains telling me it's just something small as they would have seen her today if it was serious I'm already crying and upset as she is my baby.
