i finally got a new pdoc. i go to see him on july 12th. which isnt to terrible far away. and i'm so excited. i need a new one so bad. and i'm just so happy about it. i could dance. yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah so i did a little. i've been in limbo kinda this week. and its been so hard. no pdoc to call and get help from and just " suffering basically. to those of you i have talked to these past few days thank you so much fo all the help and support. and hopefully he's the right one for me. the one i can trust and will take care of me. not just want to commit me with out trying a few other things first. the person who referred me to him i trust so i think i'm in good hands. and i could just go on and on but i'll stop. i'm just so excited. thanks again for the love and support. you guys are the best.
 
i posted this in the bipolar forum but wanted to share with all of you here to cause you all have helped me the most of all.

I am bipolar, have social anxiety, panic attacks w/agoraphobia , diabetes, asthma and high blood pressure. Life is short but i am not.

Kudos to you for finding a new Pdoc. That shows me your a proactive person and that you are willing to work with a physician.

You are lucky to have a good firend to advise you.

thank you kitt for your kind words. it was my counselor who recommended this pdoc to me as i was having so many issues with the previous pdoc, and didnt trust him any longer. she said that this new one was a good guy and i would/should do great with him. and i trust her. so i'm looking forward to the visit.
 
the ppl i have met here have been extremely nice and helpful and i'm very grateful to you all for that. i am so glad i stumbled uppond this site. great place to be. great support system and great set of friends made here.

That is great hun! I am so excited for you and I seriously hope that this helps you in life, and in your fight against this horrible disease! I seriously hope all goes well for you, make sure you let me know how it goes.

Dealing with panic and anxiety for 8 years off and on...right now more on than off.  Major health anxiety as well!
 
New found issues with agoraphobia...working on that too.
 
I am NOT weak, I am just down right now.  I am doing what it takes to get my life back!!!

yeah   yeah yeah   I'm doing a happy dance for you as well. I had to swap pdocs at the beginning of the year as my old one was doing more harm than good. What I did was wrote everything down and typed it up and when I saw my pdoc I gave them 4 pages of what was happening to read before they started talking, that way I knew I wouldn't forget anything important.
