Hey everybody,
I haven't posted in a couple days and I wanted to check in and say hi.  I have actually been feeling pretty good physically these last few days.  I have managed to stop obsessing about dying (which I had been panicing about severly for two weeks). I'm not sure what changed but I do have an appointment with a pdoc tomorrow for a med eval.  Thank God!!!  I am hoping to have them fiddle a bit with my Zoloft or switch me to something else so that I can try and kick this panic for good.
I have been consumed with a recent tragedy that happened near my home town on Tuesday night.  I'm not sure if anyone would be near me enough to know, but a group of 5 best friends - beautiful smart girls who all graduated from highschool last Thursday were killed in a horrible car accident.  One of those girls is the daughter of my co-worker.  My entire office is absolutely devastated by this and I've had quite a bit of time to reflect on how special each and every day is.  Sometimes a tragedy like this brings to light what really matters.  Katie Shirley is the daughter of my co-worker and she was her only child... somehow my fears seem so small compared to the struggle of my friend and the families of these other girls.  If any of you are interested please read the story and view the photos on CNN.com (US section) of the 5 friends from Fairport who lost their lives earlier this week... I know it's sad but sometimes hearing these stories can help to put things into perspective in our own lives.  God Bless you all and thank you for the support you've offered to me!!

Dear Liz,

I am glad your feeling better.

The car crash is absolutely devestating.  I am so sorry for everyone and all the town must be in shock. To lose your ownly child is unthinkable.

I understand this pain as I was a Momto4 and now I am a Momto3 as our 3rd child died in a car crash with his best friend. They were 21 years old.

It changes your whole life forever.

I will pray for those families and I know how you feel when something like this happens to someone you know.  You want to help so bad.  Just be there for your co-worker and let her talk about her daughter.

Gentle hugs.

Hey Liz! Definately happy to hear you are feeling better! That is always good news to hear! I hope your med eval goes good too, and that this is a long term good thing for you!

Dealing with panic and anxiety for 8 years off and on...right now more on than off.  Major health anxiety as well!
New found issues with agoraphobia...working on that too.
I am NOT weak, I am just down right now.  I am doing what it takes to get my life back!!!
Best Wishes to all...Tammy

I am so sorry to hear about your son.  To say it is devastating doesn't even begin to describe the emotions felt when we lose someone we love.  I have 4 children... 13,8,6,3.  I spend so much of my time praying that they will remain safe and healthy always.  But just as God created us and loves us he cannot protect us all the time. A Mother and Father will move heaven and earth to protect their children but we can't always be there.  I am uncertain how to react in situations like this because all I want to do is help take the pain away - but I can't and I realize that.  What I can offer are my thoughts, my prayers, and my sincere desire to listen and be present for my friend.  These situations I'm sure make everyone feel so helpless.
Kitt I pray that you are healing and God Bless you for being such a caring and giving person.
