Hello everyone, I have severe depression & anxiety, I started having anxiety attacks in my sleep where I would be hyperventilating during dreaming, I was put on Seroquel 25mg. which I take right before bedtime since then I have been attack free, has anyone experienced this or heard of it?

welcome pactos

nocturnal panic attacks do happen, seroquel is an antipsychotic, these were used for anxiety problams but arent thought of as useful now, I doubt it will stop the panic attacks at night

any antidepressant med may help with both the panic attacks and depression, if you arent on one already

Not thought of as useful? Where, Harry, do you get this stuff??? I've got to start asking you to list some kind of source when you make these kinds of statements. From reading a different forum, I can tell you that more and more people are being prescribed Serequel for anxiety disorder off-label. I can tell you from reading the Wall Street Journal that its manufacturer has applied with the FDA to have it indicated for anxiety. And it's not an antipsychotic. It's an atypical antipsychotic. BIG, big difference.

HI, I am Kitt,

Welcome

I know they use Seroquel for this problem off label as my psychiatrist and I discussed the use of it for me. I chose a different drug with her help.

I do know of people that use it and swear by it so if it is working, go with it. yeah

Please stay with us and keep posting.

Respectfully
Kitt
