Thank you Big Sis,
Your right we are over looking the good things that are happening here in this wonderful family. We need to celebrate the accompllishments no matter how small or how big.
I feel I have found some friends here and to me that is a huge deal. I am able to tease some of you and joke with you, that makes me happy as I love to laugh.
I appreciate and have true feelings of friendship with each of you.

Who I admire...........many people, the family I have here. If I had to pick someone famous I would have to say Betty Ford
Betty, an independent, plain-spoken first lady who spoke about her battles with breast cancer and addiction with a courage and clarity that saved lives and inspired others.
The courage of former First Lady Betty Ford for her struggles with addiction and breast cancer and her advocacy on these issues brought about many changes in how the public viewed both illnesses.
Breast Cancer is now out in the open and this woman was one of the reasons it was brought forwarded into the limelight.
Mrs. Ford's openness about her breast cancer in the 1970s -- including acknowledging and discussing her mastectomy -- had a great impact on the whole cause.
When Mrs. Ford disclosed in 1978 that she had been admitted to an addiction-treatment program it was a significant advancement in bringing the problem of the woman alcoholic and pill addict to the public
Her later establishment of the treatment center has continued to help others through there trials and tribulations.
She is a woman to be admired. IMHO.
Thank you for reading.
Boy I give away my age with my posts...........lol
