I've suffered from anxiety/panic for about 2 years now on and off-seems more on than off! i always get the racing heart, lightheadedness, shakiness, etc. but this past time, i was about to get on an airplane home and just felt really weak and lightheaded and needed to sit down. I felt so out of it! My face felt really weird like tingly kind of and my head felt really strange too like pressure then it went away? I dont' really know how to explain it. I didn't feel like talking either, it was really weird. I'm a little scared because I haven't had these symptoms before with my attacks, but I have heard that your symptoms tend to change and thats what keeps the panic alive. Is all of this true?anyone else with these problems?please help!

Hi Kchicka,

My A/P started 12 years ago then stopped for a long time.  about 4 months ago it came back and I had symptons that I never experienced before.  I had exactly what you are describing.  Pressure in the head and tingling all over my body.

I would make an appointment with your physician.  He can do a complete physical and give you medicine for your A/P.

Good Luck!
Mary

Hey there

Hello, this is Kitt. I agree with the others and think you would benefit from a visit to your physician for a good check up to rule out any other causes for your symptoms.

Lyn is right, the symptoms may change re panic but it is important to make sure nothing else is the cause.

Please stay with us and keep posting.

Gentle Hugs.

Respectfully
Kitt
