Man can you believe that we are all ready heading for winter, it seems like we have winter them mud, some what of a summer and back to mud and rain then the snow starts to fly in Sep. or Oct even before the leaves start to fall. Sometimes I feel like we have only 2 seasons here lol just have to make the best of it I guess as the long dark days are ahead with winter coming on as ya'll are still enjoying summer and fall, even the stores are selling off there summer stuff and getting ready for winter now.
Just why o why do I live here in Alaska
Hay Lyn I don't think Canada would let me in with all the firearms I have and just to get though I have to pay 75 dollars apiece and half of them they won't let me even take though the border lol.
Hay Lyn I been around mainly just reading, but can you believe we got a another wildfire that just started today, from a lighting storm and the air is full of smoke again!!!!!!!!!!!
Been doing a lot of fishing for the reds as they are now coming in good, but Jess I'm sick off these wildfire's, now I need to check on this one as it's closer to us then before Lyn and blowing this way for now with all the smoke here and we just had a plane fly by to check it out I hope as this place is just waiting for one big fire to hit us.
I'll let you know tomorrow what happens with this one k and I hope all is well with you as you have not emailed me for awhile.
Oh by the way, my kid was in the parade (sp) with her horse and did great with him on it, but it was kind of funny, I called Chinook to take a pic and he started heading to me lol but will talk later k

Dang it...........another fire, sorry to hear that. Good to hear your doing well. Take care.
Ya Kitt and Lyn, I think they put this one out pretty fast as I didn't see no smoke rising up from the hills today. But dang we got a lot of fish to can up now.
But I'm a little disappointed that I haven't had much time to work with the horses and go camping this year or do the rodeo like I had planed on doing, but it's all good for now k
Dear Big Sis,
I think our favorite Cowboy would agree with this one.............Never give up.
"Nobody trips over mountains. It is the small pebble that causes you to stumble. Pass all the pebbles in your path and you will find that you have crossed the mountain."
What you do for others, please do for you. We are your support.
Lil Sis out.
Well we just got most of are hay in for the horses in the barn now but was shorted 200 bales (bad hay year again) so I'm going to have to go up north and get some round bales but we were hoping to get some from my wife boss's field but they haven't cut yet and it's starting to go to seed and with more rain coming there no way I'm buying wet hay just to throw away but we did get 300 bales for now.
And yes Lyn I got some pics of my kid that I will send you, just have to wait till she down loads them for me lol but I'm sorry to here about your granddad Lyn but sound's like he was a proud man and loved to help his town's folks, like you and you to should be proud of what you do.
But Jeezssssssssh right back at ya, moving into the city Ahhhhhhhhh lol hope your move go's well for you and all.
But Kitt you been doing great on here and I agree Never give up as there is nothing we can't get back up from or back on the horse lol
Take care ya'll and I'll talk later k
