I know the memory works n weird ways but mine seems to be the weirdest somedays i can remember things that happened in the past and others days if u asked me what happened last week i couldn;t tell ya. I don;t understand and i would like to know that i am not alone and if other people experience the same things. I force myself sometimes to redirect my thoughts so i can stop thinking about what pops into my head. Thanks for any responses. Twiggy2

Good Morning

Anxiety can cause short term memory loss as can some of the mdeications. Also aging can cause this same problem but I don't think age is your problem :)

The benzodiazipines are one of the meds that may cause this short term memory loss in some people.
If you have a major problems, please talk to your physician.

Take care.

Oh man, i dont even remember what i wrote in my last response on to someone on here. For me its the medication, and i'm finding ways to combat it, like note taking and stuff. Once i look back at my notes (even i they're brief) i can remember what happened. But without those notes, its really hard for me.

Benzos do seem to really give me fog head. As well as other medications. And just plain ol' anxiety (as kitt pointed out).

Hang in there!
Dan
