Hi Everyone! I have been on Prozac for 6 weeks, 4 weeks at 10mg and now 2 weeks at 20mg. I have been taking it for GAD and mild depression. I have noticed that my depression has lifted a bit, but feel my anxiety might be a little worse than before. I don't know if I should try and wait this out a few more weeks or try something new like Lexapro. I know I need to talk with my Pdoc but any advice would be great!

I would try it for another couple of weeks if you can and then if not any better with the A/P then do talk to your doc it may just not be the one for you

Hey there,

Lyn is a wise woman and I definitely agree with her. Try it for a coupleof more weeks unless you just cannot tolerate it. The increase in dose may be causing the flare in anxiety but hopefully that will settle down.

Stay with us and keep on posting.

Gentle Hugs
