I've been on cymbalta for alittle over a year and finally a doc realized it is not helping with my depression but keeps my anxiety under control.  So I weaned off the cymbalta and as of tues was just on 20mg prozac along with my usual 1.5mg  of klonopin.  1 in the am and 2 and night.  Well I know that anxiety is a side effect so last night after I went to bed I woke up like 2 hours later with anxiety.  I got through it and slept for another 2 hours and woke up with more anxiety.  Finally slept alittle more and now I'm ok.  The only thing that worries me is that it has been over 2 years since I had a full blown panic attack and that one landed me in the hospital.  I take my pill in the morning so why am I having anxiety at night?  I was just wondering if I should call a side effect and deal with it till i see my doc on monday or if I should worry about it now.

Somtimes SSRI's like prozac can cause anxiety, but another explanation is that your klonipin is losing its effect due to tollerance. I would just try and relax until you see your physician monday.
