Oh, what a yucky a.m. I had.  It lasted only a few minutes, but I had an awful panic attack around 5 am.  I have OCD and it wasn't so much a bad thought as a feeling of being helpless and then i started thinking i would be better off dead.  That started to freak me out and my body got about 200 degrees my heart was beating in my throat and I couldn't breathe.  I have my own way of trying to keep my mind occupied.  I sing songs in my head over and over until the panic goes away.  It lasted about 5 minutes, but I haven't felt that overwhelmed by my OCD attacks in a long time.

So, any fellow OCDers out there that can relate, please feel free to write.

Hey there,

I am so sorry you had this nasty panic attack but I have to commend you on knowing how to get through the attack.

Special hugs to you.
