Ive been on zoloft for almost 2 months.  I hadnt noticed any side affects until about a week ago.  The muscles in my thighs and my arms feel heavy.  I have no problem walking, but they have this heavy achy feeling.  I think i may have some tingling in my hands too.  Well, now Im freaking out thinking I have some terrible muscle disease, because I worry about everything, and I imagine the worse.  I also take 2 protonix a day(ppi) for gerds and reflux...and I do know that ppis can cause vit b12 deficiency, which this can be also...Anyways...jsut wondering if anyone else out there has experienced this heavy sensations in legs and arms.  Im getting worried, and I always imagine the worse.  Any help would be sooo appreciated.

Dear Rose,

I have not heard that Zoloft causes this side effect.  It is possible I would guess.  Also anxiety can cause many unusual somatic symptoms. IMHO I would definitely discuss this with your physician.

Perhaps someone else has had this same symptom and will post to you.

Hoping the best for you. :)
