Hi everyone,
I went to my regular doc yesterday because I thought that I have Restless Leg Syndrom and yes I do.  So, now another med - Requip.  I feel like a flippin pharmacy with all the meds I have - LOL :-) .
Any way, while there the nurse the usual - take the vitals, weigh me, etc.  This where the good news comes in - I have lost 14 POUNDS in just a few short weeks.  I now weigh 192 pounds (I don't normally share my weight with people, but this is awesome).  I haven't seen numbers below 200 in at least 5 years.  While I was on the Lithium, until I became toxic, I was told to drink tons of water.  Even though I hate the stuff I did as I was told - it was all I was drinking.  And even though I'm no longer on the Lithium, I'm still continuing to drink a lot of water.
I know this is a minor thing compared to everything else, but I am very excited!  I'm going to continue to drink lots of water, eat really well, and maybe start taking some short walks (work up to longer ones) and maybe I can lose the weight that I want to.
Like I said, I just wanted to share this with you all!!

Glad you are doing better and losing weight. As for water, drink 1/2 ounce per pound of body wieght each day. And continue the exercise. That will help with weight loss.

whoooo hooooooo.  Proud of you and way to go.  Keep it up.  I know the feeling of getting on the scale and seeing the weight go down.  It feels so good.

I am glad you are feeling so great.  Hugs
