I can relate to what you are feeling mine feels like it's so hard to explain pins and needles first in the arm then leg ect ect it goes from place to place. I asked my Med Doc about this he said it is part of the anxiety, what I have now is my feet are tingling not pins and needles but a tingling feeling and it never stops it's driving me insane. I am calling the Doc tomorrow to see what this could be. If anyone else has this could you please let me know.

That is a problem others with anxiety have experienced also.  So I would think that your anxiety is the cause.  If it becomes extremely bothersome please check with your Physician.

Good luck and keep posting.  Nice to hear from you again.

I totally agree it is to do with anxiety but like said if it becomes very irritating see the doc and tell him/her what is going on and what you are feeling

I do have the creepy crawling feeling mainly in my left arm, but to lesser extent rest of the body.

If it where related to Anxiety issues, then the Diazepam should work.

I do have abnomal CT scan and x-rays in my back and neck.

Doing physical therapy and not making headway there either, but I continue trying.

I also checked the medication angle. I am on Phenergan IV to control the nausea and vomiting related to Gastroparesis.

Any ideas are welcome.

I sitkaconny and welcome to Healingwell. Could you possibly have a herniated disc in your neck? The reason I ask is I had that and I would have the same pins and needles sensation down my left arm (along with some really bad pain). Just a thought!

Again welcome to our little anxious corner of the world!!

Right now I am being told, that a nerve is being pinched, and that PT will help. Well, I keep doing the PT and it does not help, but I am getting firm abs.

The MGS tests done last year in October states mild chronic denevation and reinnervataion changes in muscles innerverted right C6 and left S1 radiculopathy.

November 2007 CT Mylogram states, that there are degenerative erosions involving the occipital condyles bilateral at C1. at C4-5 there is degeneative disc disease notes with osteophyte disc complex bilaterally with mild inmpingement of the dural sac bilaterially.

I got my service-connected disability from the VA for my back and requested to be seen by a Spine specialist. First response, you need no surgery, and now they are trying get records together to be seen by a pain speciliast.

In the mean, no matter how hard I try, it is not helping and I am miserable. Instead just taking the Diazepam just a night, I take it couple times during the day. I wake up in the middle of the night with severe back pain, take a Vicodin and hoping it would kick in.

As you can see, I am so frustrated and uncomfortable.

Thanks for the input.

Just got a phone call from Anchorage, the Nurse Practioner did the referral to a pain specialist, and I have an appoint on the 18th and on 19th for injections if needed. I am waiting on call back from the VA travel. If they are not paying for travel, I can not go.

Welcome to HealingWell and the A & P Forum.  I do not know what would be causing your sx but it is very possible your back and neck problems plus the medications could all be contributing to the creepy crawling feelings.

I hope your travel arrangements come through.  Please do stay with us and know we care. I am so sorry for the pain you are in.

Well folks,
I got my travel arrangements from the VA. I will be leaving at the 6 AM flight on the 18th and have an appointment at 1:30 PM. The VA also paid for lodging. On the 19th, I have another appointment at 9 AM and fyling back at 7 PM, and arriving in Sitka about 11 PM.
Since the VA pays $30.00 a day for a rental car, I am going to get a rental car, and not messing with Taxi Cabs, that are so unreliable.
This week, I got an appointment with another doc here in Sitka, pre-colonscopy appoinment. Looks like a busy week this time.
I was sick yesterday with so much pain, stayed in bed....
I will let you all know what the outcome is.
Wishing everyone a nice day
