First day at work after 8 years of anxiety!

Hi everyone,
                well I just thought I would write about my new achievement!
I startted work today for the first time since I started with anxiety/agoraphobia/panic. yeah
I am soooo pleased and feel on top of the world although it is only cleaning at my children's school! redface
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support since I joined this site so thank you xxxxxx :-)

That is GREAT news Chuckle! I wish I felt strong enough to go back to work. I am so thrilled for you, I really am!

Almost completely healed from a battle with Agoraphobia!!!
 
Currently taking 20 mg of Lexapro at bedtime.

Oh, and don't say "it's only cleaning at my children's school" as if that makes it any less important than what it truly is!!!

Way to go Chuckle,

You must feel so proud after 8 years, thats a great achievment,and as Tammy said it dosent matter what job it is, the important thing is that you've made a huge step in your life.

Congratulations, im really happy for you. Kepp us posted on how your doing. :-)

I know it is a Monumental STEP to get out and do what you are doing considering all your past with the agoraphobia and it was severe ............its not "Just" it is FANTASTIC that you are able to come this far share what you have overcame and share with us

GIVING all hope that there is a light at the end of the tunnel for all

Awww thank you all for your replies, your kind words mean so much to me!
I never thought I would overcome my anxiety/agoraphobia to this extent as to be able to go back to work!
I'm 100% sure that if I can, anyone can.
