im about 8 months late on my doc checkup because im broke. The first clonozopam did work for my restless legs . since then ive been cutting it into 1/4 and now taking .50 a day instead of the prescribed 2 mg a day. Im gonna run out of them in about a month or so and wondered what i should do . Also is .50 nothing to worry about as far as addiction.

Hello there, I am sorry you are having issues.  I am wondering how often you take the Klonopin and how you have managed to have an 8 months supply?  As far as addiction, I do not know that you would be addicted or dependent on the drug as I am not sure the duration of time you have been on this med.

Some suggestions,  decreased use of caffeine, alcohol, and tobacco may provide some relief.

Only your physician  can decide but a better drug, Requip,  may be the right medication to treat your moderate-to-severe primary RLS.

I hope you are able to see a physician soon.  Take care and keep posting.
