What are the things that are in your head that won't allow you to sleep?
Try putting them on paper. I have been sleeping with a notebook next to my bed for 3 years. Whenever I couldn't sleep, I'd roll over, turn on the light and start writing the thoughts I was having on paper. As I look back, I was knocking a lot of weird things around in my head. From, "You're gonna fail tomorrow." to "Why did I volunteer for the potluck?" Putting it all on paper somehow cleared my mind and allowed me to sleep some nights. Give it a try
