Any comments anyone?  I'm a 22 year old single female and I was just prescribed this, don't remember the dosage off the top of my head.  I took lexapro a long time ago and had no trouble getting aroused but couldn't "get there".  Help me please.  Also, whats the difference (if any) between Effexor and Effexor XR?  Thanks!!

Effexor and Effexor XR is different because the XR is going thru body constantly .....extended release
Effexor I would assume works immediately and doesnt have lasting time frame as other one

This is what I have been told anyways

I am sure someone else can help as well tahat has more experience with this med.......

As for getting into the other topic I dont have that problem but I would like to ask tht the posts be carefully written and not to explicit as we have some young as 13 on this forum.........

Thanks in advance

Hi there...Let me see how I can word this...I was on Lexapro for a couple months, and well, lets just say, I wasn't getting there. I have been on Effexor XR for about 2 weeks now, and I am back to "normal". Everyone is different though.

I hope I worded that OK, this is a hard topic, as we do have the younger viewers!
