Dear Machelle,

On the first question, may I suggest  you ask the pharmacist re the cold med what would be safe to take with your meds?  They are usually pretty knowledgable.

I am so sorry about your kitty and I truly know how hard it is to have to make decisions re your pet.  I had a hard time with it but after making the decision I know it was the right thing to do.

Our pets accept us unconditionally and the thought of losing your best friend is bound to make you feel sad and depressed. I wish you had more support people with you but know we are always here for you.

Bless you

Kitt

really sorry to hear about your kitty not being well.  They really are family aren't they.  My cats are my children.  On the cold med issue I would suggest you stay away from anything with (I may mis-spell this) pseudoephadrine as it is a derivative of ephadrine and will increase your anxiety.  Check with the chemist.  I hope things go okay with your cat, and don't beat yourself up for the extra anxiety, you're doing really well under such bad circumstances. xx

I alone can do this, but I cannot do it alone.

machelle,

I agree with Kitt, talk to your pharmacist...but I did notice that you listed a high blood pressure medication.  There is something out there called Coricidin HBP for different symptoms relating to colds and flu...that may be one to ask your pharmacist if it is safe to take with your other meds.

Sorry to hear about your kitty, it is never easy when they get older and sick...I hope she does better...and I hope you feel better soon too!
