"Cowboy crossed the majestic mountains to the valleys far below.
He talked to his team of huskies as he mushed on through the snow.
With the northern lights a-running wild in the land of the midnight sun,
Yes, Cowboy was a mighty man in the year of nineteen-ninty-one."

I'm still blowing snow and we are supposed to get another 4-7 inches. As for living in Minnesota, in the winter everyone walks on water.

Part two already...it's only December!!!!! This is going to be a bug year for my favourite thread.  Thanks Lyn **hugs**

Kitt - I think that flying frozen lake might have passed me by...we got big black clouds, a bit of wind and exactly three drops of rain...it might have landed in New Zealand and drowned a few sheep though!

Kota - I'm sending you some heat, dust and melting tarmac (basically my front yard right now). My poor little kitty is having his first summer and he just lies on the kitchen floor shedding fur and going "mwaah" every so often.

Has anyone finished their christmas shopping yet? I can't stand it because the crowds make me FREAK.  I may need to swallow the little book of calm before I step out.....eek!
I alone can do this, but I cannot do it alone.

Northwest got hit by nasty winter storm and my number one son lives in Oregon.  I think he is sending what is left of it this way and it just start to snow a bit now.

Get out the snowshovels and make sure your winter survival gear is in your cars.
How long til spring?

I know this is supposed to be a happy thread, so I'm sorry to to this but my kitty went missing yesterday and I'm a wreck..please say a prayer for his safe return..he's just a bub and was being looked after by some friends 10k away while our house was inspected.

long story short he got out and is now roaming the streets with no food/water and has never been outside at night before.  Again sorry to whine on a happy site but I've shed so many tears I don't know what else to do but ask others to help me pray.

Going to go back out to the suburb he was lost in and call his name for a few more hours before work....It keeps my anxiety and tears at bay...

On the east coast here, lil' state of Delaware, at the northern end. Weather here was actually surprisingly mild yesterday, about 57 at 3 in the afternoon. It usually gets decently cold around here during December and January, and sure enough, this morning I woke up to 31 degrees with a 32mph wind, gusting to 40. :P

When I was younger I was one for winter weather. As I get older I find I'm jonesing more and more for spring and summertime. :P Also never cared much for fall.

That's something I meant to ask on here: what seasons are peoples' favorites?

Aw Meg, I will pray your kittie is safe and warm.  We have a kittie that just showed up one day at our house, she had  declawed front paws so we knew she belonged to someone.  She made up her mind to live with us.  We named her Pugsly, and she loves my hubby to death.  We have had her for 5 years now and she never roams far.  She will sit on the end of our fence post and wait til she sees my husbands car coming home.

I hope your kittie comes home to you.  I think ours may have been dropped off.  We are in the country.

Kota, I think Lyn has lost it.................lol, she thinks she is of Scandahoovian descent now after talking to you.  LOL.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Ole and Sven grabbed their poles and headed out to do some ice fishing. As they were augering a hole in the ice they heard a loud voice from above say, "There are no fish under the ice."

Ole an Sven moved about 25 feet over and started to make another hole. The voice said a little stronger, " There are no fish under the ice."

They both looked around and then looked up. Ole said in a humble voice, "Are you God?"

The voice spoke back, "No ya idiots! I'm the ice rink attendant."

Have a happy snowy day.

Kitt

Would y'all quit your whining, you all wanted my snow so I sent it to you, as I look outside all I see is a light layer of snow on the ground and melting fast as it's 36 outside right now and starting to get dark at 3:30 pm

I must say I do like the warm weather y'all are sending me and I really don't mind hogging it up as y'all are hogging my winter cold and snow haha and I really don't mind not having to wear my bunny boots to keep my toes warm

Cowboy up and laughing  (forgot we where on part 2 so I reposted it here lol)
