Hi THreeboysMom,
I'm a mom of 3 boys, too! They're my world, I just love them!

Here's something that alot of people don't realize, when we get excited we have a surge of adrenaline just like when we get anxious, so of course we can have the tendency to have the same symptoms. Usually when we're excited it's about something positive, so we don't even notice the symptoms, we're not focused on them. As soon as we're anxious, we focus on our symptoms and how we're feeling. Adrenaline is adrenaline, no matter what, it's how you perceive it. Hope that makes sense. Don't be afraid of it, it's just feelings, you're not going to have a nervous breakdown. I'm sure you've experienced the worst already. Anxiety/panic has a distinct patter and limits. It doesn't get worse, you can just prolong your symptoms by what you're saying to yourself. I wish you the best!

Good answer and I would agree, so I hope this puts your mind at ease and you just enjoy being happy.  Kind oflike feeling you won the lottery. :)

This is another bad thing about anxiety and Panic. You can't even enjoy the excitement anymore because it feels like anxiety. I've found them so difficult to differentiate. If I'm going on a vacation I feel these mixed feeling most. Am I excited or anxious. The anxiety has been for so many years that the signals in my brain are all scrambled. At this point there is no answer- at least for me.
