Have you edited your member profile and preferences in the Control Panel? If not, you really should do so. In the Control Panel you can:

Change Password
Edit Profile - Choose whether or not to display your email address with others, share instant messaging information, or display a signature with your posts.
Edit Options - including setting the time settings for the forum to your time zone and your language preference
Edit Email Subscriptions - Here you can view what forums or threads you are subscribed to and remove them as needed.
Edit Ignored Users - Above every post in the top right corner is an icon to Ignore a User that is annoying or bothersome, which means their posts won't ever display for you. You can edit your ignored list here.

You must be logged in to view the screens in the Control Panel above.
