How did you know you have Celiac disease?
I'm plagued with embarassing gas all the time.
I can't sit at the dining table without blowing gas.
I can't walk across the room without ripping one or more out.
I'm at my wits end and can't figure what's going on.
HELP!!!!

Do you also have loud and embarrassing gurgling in your stomach? That is a great sign, plus gas, constipation/diarreha, bloating, & nausea are some of the physical symptoms.
There is so much more to it but, I would try to go GF for a week and see how it effects me. However, if you want a diagnosis later, you will have to go back on gluten.

Hello
I had similiar problems, but more with the gurgling stomach and bad nausea. I was just diagnosed last week with Celiacs. Tested positive on the blood test and had an endoscopy that was positive. I am searching everywhere I can for some help in dealing with this. I am NOT a drama queen but I am feeling so depressed and feel like I am stuck in someone elses nightmare. Sorry didnt mean to ramble! Good Luck

Joy,
I've seen you post on the Lyme forum too. Lyme disease is known to cause or trigger Celiac and/or a form of gluten sensitivity that might get better with Lyme treatment. Lyme can also cause dysmotility in the GI tract, leading to gas problems. I would encourage you to try a gluten free diet and/or get tested for Celiac (get tested before going on a gluten-free diet, otherwise the tests are inaccurate). Also, probiotic supplements can be very helpful for those of us with Lyme.
Good luck,
