ah, yup, that's it.
Diagnosed with Crohn's late December 2004, at 16. Getting by, barely.

I can't understand what is the point of all this, gone through the questionnaire and found out that discussing about treatment is not allowed, must be too tired... any ideas what it this for?

Posted By : Bane - 6/14/2014 8:27 PM
Check out the Discussions. that seems to be where the interesting stuff is. But not too interesting. Kinda bland, tbh. From what I gather, we're grouped by our treatment, but not able to talk about our treatment, so yeah, kinda... meh.

the only active poll is "what kind of pie would you take" and they dont even have rheubarb as an option, the heathens.

anyway yeah, a few of the discussions are interesting. like the "what would you say to manufacturers" one.

First pg on survey has no options to choose from. Can't get past that pg without choosing an option

Well, I could finish the survey but it wouldn't take an address outside of the US.

"For this thing I besought the Lord thrice that it depart from me. He said, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities; I take pleasure in infirmities, reproaches, necessities, persecutions, distresses, for when I am weak, then am I strong." 2 Cor 12

Is this opportunity still available? I don't see any links to get started....

Some of the responses above had the same problem. Do you have an ad blocker, like AdBlocker Plus or something in Google Chrome? If not, try just copy and pasting this link (I didn't hyperlink it so it wouldn't be blocked).

Diagnosed with Crohn's in 2014 after chemo for breast cancer tore up my colon. I had bouts of colitis since age 2 but had never been diagnosed. After diagnosis tried Remicaid, no improvement. Went on Prednisone (20 milligrams) then Entyvio and that helped inflammation but symptoms were still intense. My colon wouldn't heal - I had stricture and an area that was deteriorated as seenin my last colonoscopy. At that point I had 9" of my colon removed and and had an ileostomy to allow my colon to heal. No complications from surgery. It has been 3 months and just had a barium enema that confirmed that my colon has healed. I've been enjoying food and wine for the 1st time in 4 years but know it's temporary. My surgery to reverse the ileostomy is on October 7th. I've been warned that recovery will be long - 2 months - and that getting my colon to behave normally will take time (i.e. Being able to control my urges). Anyone out there that has lived through this and can provide feedback?

My 16-year-old son was just diagnosed with Crohn's disease and is getting the first infusion of Remicade today. The side effects of Remicade are so scary. I am so worried as he is so young and still growing.
