Hi I'm 24 years old and my fiance and I have been together for 4 years. I really want to have children and I have cystic fibrosis and I've noticed it's hard for me to get pregnant. I never once had a scare or thought I was pregnant. I need to know if I'm able to have children and if so what kind of help will speed up the process. I go to a gynecologist next week what type of questions should I ask?

You can have children it is possible. I have a few friends with cf who are pregnant or who have kids. If you use Facebook try to search for cystic fibrosis mummies. They have a website too tho I'm not sure what that is right now as I'm using my phone to post, I will find out later for you. They are a support group for people with cf trying to conceive.

I tried for 9years with one partner and 2 rounds of IVF to get pregnant and it never worked. They couldn't tell me why not. I now have a new partner and been with him 7 months and still no catching on and falling pregnant. Guess my bodies just not made for it.

I do know people who have fallen pregnant naturally and through ivf though so all hope is not lost for you. X
