Hi Tony,

I can imagine that it could be your body and mind getting use to the Lexapro. If it doesn't subside soon, I would talk to the doc about it.

The fact that you are already feeling better is a good sign. I hope it continues for you.

Take care Tony, keep us posted on how you are doing.

Hugs, Karen...

Tony, try taking 1 to 3 mg. of OTC Melatonin.

Did you used to fall asleep easily or sleep too much? 3 days is too soon to evaluate. Glad you are feeling better!

I was put on Lexapro last year and my doctor just which the lexapro with Trintellix. When I was on Lexapro I was always tired and gained a lot of weight but I was also on Wellbutrin. Maybe try doing light therapy and staying up later and then right before going to bed take melatonin and see if you can stay asleep longer.

Hi Gobonkers,

Welcome to the depression forum..

My husband takes his melatonin at 6:00 in the evening and by the time he goes to bed, it is working. The doctor told him to do it that way. He takes 10 mg of melatonin every evening.

Hugs, Karen...

I use to have a light box. It helped...
