I am interested in getting one. I see there are different brands on Amazon. Is there a certain brand or feature I should be looking for? I see a range of prices.

And on the eighth day God created Golden Retrievers.

I got mine for about 20.00 on Amazon with a pillow. I really like it. I have Amazon Prime though and get free shipping, so that helps...

I hope you find a good one that you like. At first I didn't think I would like it because it feels pokey. But after a minute of laying on it, it feels good.

Best wishes PuppyLover!!!

Thanks for the thread puppylover, I'm thinking of getting one too.

Karen, can we ask what kind you purchased? Does it help your pain? I noticed there are some that are short in length and others that are long. Since I have lower back pain at times would a long one be better?

I am one of those people who knows what I like & don’t like. And I can tell you the second I laid down on the acupressure mat, it was true love. Mind/body connection right away. My body loved it, my mind loved it. Sold.

An acupressure mat stimulates the body to release endorphin hormones which have a soothing effect on the mind & body. The mat improves muscles to recover from workouts, and improves sleep instantly. They’re portable & light

Since I am sensitive I always looked at those spikes and thought I would not like it..

But acupuncture felt good to me I wanted ways to treat myself at home..

Bought the mat..and love it..if I am flaring I get upset, my breathing seems shallow..after about 5 minutes on the mat , my breathing deepens, I am more relaxed , and have less pain..

I still usually use a thin layer of material between me and the mat..just cause I am usually dressed or in a nightgown when I lay on it..

It's one of many tools that help me, am thinking they would all work about the same , may be more a matter of how long they wear over time..

Think it would be great if everyone shares if you use these and how you think it helps

I also use the mat. I got mine from Chinaberry, but I have noticed it is not in their catalog anymore. I press my aching back and dorsal arms into it as hard as I kind of feels like it opens up a passageway for the pain to seep out. It provides A LOT of relief for me. You can lay on it, or put it behind you on a wall and press into it...ahhhh.
