Does anyone know if there are before-you-get-out-of-bed exercises for fibromyalgia? I'm very sore and stiff when I get up.

Thanks in advance.

I have noticed from time, that our body hardly can recognize what we need, its like a mix of feeling, being tired with panics all the time.
i think its important to let your body try to sleep, even if you don't feel like this. also i think celibacy plays a small part with fibro.

I just do stretching exercises before I get out of bed. We all know how to stretch our arms and legs. I add arching my back frontward to help stretch my back muscles. I think this helps get the blood flowing to the muscles and it does help me a little. Then, once I'm out of be and moving around, the stiffness starts to fade.

Yay sunshine!!!
Are your vitamin d levels ok barb?

I have mornings with hardly any stiffness, and then mornings i wake up aching.

Have you ever tried curamed? My stiffness was less within a few days of taking it..

I still can get issues with our rollercoaster weather, but overall less..

We are going from 70's back to overnight low of 21, lol, now that just hurts

I did try Curcumin. It made me so nauseated I stopped it.

I find that I need to move around a little first (...I mean hobble...). I think stretching is a great thing. I use it for my tight/painful thighs and it works very well.

Ljm......I think the rollercoaster weather has really affected me too! I'm having a huge flare, and I just realized it's probably this "bipolar" weather! I hope it's not the new normal.

These weeks where we go from 70s to 20s are brutal 😟.

You just reminded me i forgot to stretch today😊

Gentle yoga. Good for the body and great for the mind/ body connection. It actually acts as a pain killer. Unfortunately it doesn't last all day!

Try it!

If you can't go to classes try yoga anytime online. Tons of classes for $18 a month.

YOGA changed my life. Truly.

Here's to better mornings!
