| Hi, Jordan, and welcome! Fibromyalgia affects muscles, tendons and ligaments primarily. The criteria for diagnosing Fibromyalgia is having pain in all four quadrants of the body that has lasted for several months. Cognitive memory problems usually occur too.|
Many of us see a board certified rheumatologist for our diagnosis...if you want to go that route.
Read Fibro 101...the first thread on the forum. There are links to good info about fibro and you will learn a lot there. The link called A Thorough Explanation of Fibromyalgia would be a good one for you to read to see if this is what you are going through.
You might try getting a GENTLE massage. I know massage helps me with neck and muscular pain.
Do let us know what you find out because we do care about you.
I'm looking forward to getting to know you better. Don't hesitate to ask questions because we are here to help you. Hope to hear more from you soon.
