I have a question this was my test result
ANA SCREEN, IFA : Positive
ANA PATTERN: Nucleolar
ANA TITER 1:40 H
DNA (DS) ANTIBODY:1

I dont have any muscle or joints ache or weakness. Do I have autoimmune disease with this test result or something also like a bacterial infection?

I took this test because my dermatologist think I might have lupus .Because I have Light redness on my cheeks

Thanks

A positive ANA is simply an indicator that you may need to do more investigation. By itself, it doesn't mean you have Lupus, nor does it mean you do NOT have Lupus.

Here is a link that talks a little bit more about the ANA www.lupusresearchinstitute.org/lupus/lupus_diagnosis/ana_test
