Ooooooh,  now I think I know why I can't remember anything that happens at night.  I posted a while back about not remembering how I got in my recliner when I went to bed in my bed.   I had called the doctor and asked them if it could be the AMbienCr I am taking and they said no.  Now, I am not so sure.  They said in this article that 90% of the people drank alcohol, too, which I don't do....   I don't know,  kind of scary.  Should I stop take them or keep taking them?  They really do help me sleep better.

Does anyone else take them?

Mary Ann,

You should talk to your doctor about this article before stopping your med. I think the news is just raising awareness and wants warning labels so people will know about these strange side effects that could happen.

Mary Ann,

When you talk to your Dr. you should also mention the things you have posted here that you have forgotten. That could be significant. There are other prescriptions that could help you if ambien turns out to be a problem.
