Hi everyone,

I was just thinking...let's all post a little something about ourselves...so we can get to know one another a little better and we can see who all is here!!!

My name is Sara. I have had migraines for about 10 years, the last 3 or so have been Chronic Daily Headaches and Debilitating Migraines. I end up in the ER about once a month or every other month. I've taken lots of meds and tried different doctors, I do a lot of research on my own though...as I feel that is very important. I have fibro also, IBS and thinking maybe a little RLS or Restless Leg Syndrome. I am here as the moderator because I care about others who are suffering the same pains, and I want to do whatever I can to help.

Because this illness is NOT who I am I will share a little "non-migraine" information. I am very close with my family and have a 2 year old border collie/lab mix that I love more than anything!

Please share a little about yourself so we can all get to know each other!

Or more about me at:

Thanks for Visiting HealingWell.com

My name is Ashley. I live in Ohio currently (looking for a job somewhere else)!! I have had migraines for 2 years. (My stupid senior thesis is to blame) I think for my migraines. I have seen every neurologist that my insurance covers and have had very little success!

I love my neurologist because I can get into see him whenever I needed too. I'm his toughest patient. I've taken a zillion meds and have not found a preventive that works. I almost always have some sort of headache but when I get a migraine they usually stick around for 10-15 days. So pain meds are my best friends because all I can do is try and make myself a little more comfortable.

The weather is my number one trigger especially rain!! I'm thinking about moving to Death Valley to escape the rain in Ohio.

The number one man in my life right now is my black lab Jack. He takes very good care of me when I am sick with a headache. If spent the night on the bathroom floor Jack stays with me but he seems to know when I get really really sick because then he goes and gets someone for me. He is my very own Lassie!
