Hey, I am new here and thought that I would tell my story in case it would help anyone else. I was having severe migraines every single day for two years. My test always came back normal and I could not take any of the migraine medications because they almost gave me a heart attack. But recently I have found out some interesting things about Homeopathic drugs. I am now taking Ginger and Feverfew for my migraine pain. It worked. My pain went from an everyday 10 to bearly there and hopefully soon they will be gone completely. I did a lot of research on both drugs to see how they would work and I was very suprised at how fast they actually did work. So I think others could benefit from this. I know that not everyone takes to things like others and that not evereything will work the same for others but its a thought. Well I will be here for replies.
Take care to pain free days,

You are lucky indeed, to have found such good relief with those two remedies. If it works for you, I'd keep right on with that program.

It would be great if it worked for everyone, but unfortunately, it doesn't. Most people with migraines have to resort to medications to try to find some relief.

Hope your pain-free days continue, I'm glad you've found something to help.

Take care ~ Renee

Thanx for the support. I know how it doesn't work for everyone, but believe me I wish it was that easy for everyone. I wish that no one had to live in pain and taking years to find something to work. It is a lot of stress.
Take care, to pain free days,

Have you been taking the new over the counter medication called GelStat Migraine....??? From what I remember that is a combination of both Ginger and Feverfew... you have any "taste" issues with either of those? (After taking them do you have a funny aftertaste?)

Thanks for coming by, please feel free to post often.

scool    Hello and thanx for the reply. Yes I tried the GelStat only once and I absolutely hated it. It left an awful taste in my mouth I almost threw up. So after it did work I read more into it and found that the active ingredients were Ginger and Feverfew so I figured why not just take them in pill form. And I take one of each a day and no more pain. Did you ever try this?? Thanx again for the response I will post more in a few days. Take care to pain free days.

I have tried ginger and feverfew both in pill form, but I took it a little differently...never as abortive measures.

I took ginger for nausea and then I took feverfew as preventatives along with magnesium and riboflavin...

When I get a migraine mine don't respond to the "big guns" so I'm doubtful that they will respond to this....but for me prevention is key...

talk to you soon!
