going on 5 months ago I had a migraine during a martial arts class, aura and all. Since then I have had a 24/7 headache that seems to be centered around my eyes. It often hurts to move my eyes to the sides or up and down and it feels very much like eyestrain. It is both eyes. The pain varies from hour to hour. I get lightheaded often and I have trouble reading or staring at screens or scanning isles at the grocery store. I am light sensitive.I have had a normal CT scan with contrast. My neurologist is refusing to do an MRI. I was told it might be concussion related I just have no clue when I had a concussion and I feel like that would have been evident to me. I was wondering if anyone has suffered anything like this? I have stopped going to martial arts since this started but I want to go back if its safe to do so. I'll just suck it up as long as I know its safe to do so. When I was a teenager I had a similar problem with a headache that lasted for 1.5 years around my eyes but no neuro symptoms like light sensitivity.

I would get a second opinion from another neuro.

fact: concussive damage can be permanent form some people depending on the frequency of events and about of damage each time.
