My neurologist gave me something called cambia for when I get a headache. It is a powder with Diclofenac potassium. I noticed in ingredients that it has aspartame. But I know aspartame is one of the five migraine triggers so I am just trying to understand why they put that in this medicine and if this medicine still works. I am scared to take it because don't want to make headache worse.

It is a trigger for some people not all.

If you know for sure it is a trigger for you. call the doc for another med.

If you fear it will trigger, call the doc anyway and discuss it, ask for another med
