I had one month ago numbness in my left side of my face, I went to the doctor and she said I had all the symptons of a facial paralysis except my muscles were still responding.
On Wednsday it started again, but this time I am getting a sharp ear pain that comes and goes but it stays for a while. I am also having headaches, my left eye hurts, and I get pain in my right arm and side of the neck and I got oral herpes. I went to get my ears check and they are good, no infection and I do not present any kind of hear loss.
I have been getting oral herpes 2 or 3 times per month for the past 6 months. I've had it since I can remember but not so frequently as now.
I also had a blood test done and everything is normal.
I am not sure what can be happening, if it is all stress related or if there might be something else. I have been to a general physician, an Otolaryngologist, and an Internist and no dinal diagnosis. Any suggestions?

|I think the fact that you mention the herpes outbreak may be important. There is obviously something else going on as well, but the HPV may be triggering the headache. HPV will encapsulate and lay dormant in the CNS, appearing under certain circumstances as an outbreak. Since it resides in the CNS, it will not only activate the CNS immune response, but may also lead to some of the other symptoms you're noting.|
If, indeed, you are experiencing a CNS immune response, your best course of action to experience relief from the headache would be a triptan, which is a vasoconstrictor. It's possible if you relieve the CNS inflammation with the triptan, it may relieve some of your discomfort with the other symptoms as well, because they may be responding to pressure upon nerve centers.
