I just had a colonoscopy and found out that I have inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) called Ulcerative Colitis.

I have blood in my stool and have had severe diarrhea for over a year. I am 51 years old and I no longer have solid poop and I am in full menopause. I Fear leaving the house because when I do my stomach feels like I have to go to the bathroom are I always have to know where the bathrooms are. I can't even go to the fair or flea market unless I starve myself from 6pm the day before and not eat anything the day of the fair. So that I don't have to use the bathroom. When I do eat then I can go to the bathroom sometimes four to five times a day.

If anyone else is having these systems then know that you have inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). You have to get a list of list of foods that cause the inflammation. Anything that irritates your stomach you will have to stop eating or drinking.

I have to follow up with my GI doctor to talk about my options. I don't want to take pills. I think I will try a strict diet first. Hope this helps you. "God Bless".
