My 90 yr old mother has lived with us for 4 yrs (since my dad died)....we have tried two different motion cameras, but unfortunately, the wifi connections keep getting husband wants to get a monitor without wifi, but i'm having difficulty finding one! Samsung used to make one that vibrated (so as not to wake my husband), but no longer. I'd like to view what's going on with her, but i guess i may be stuck with just a motion sensor....would like one that is NOT LOUD though. A foot pad is not advisable as she could fall. Does anyone have any suggestions? thanks

We have a camera system - it's called Uniden/Guardian. We have it for security but when my mother was living with us it came in handy. If I was sitting at the computer I could see on the little screen (not the computer screen) what she was doing in the living room. But you would probably need a couple of cameras in each room. I'm not sure if that's what you're looking for though. My husband just said it operates independently of the internet and thinks he bought it at Costco but that was a few years ago. They might have a better, updated version now.
Diagnosed with ulcerative colitis in 2005 and rheumatoid arthritis in 1998. On Remicade since 2005 for both diseases. For UC tried sulfasalazine, Lialda, colazal and others which made me ill. Started 50 mg. Imuran July 2015. Use Bentyl, peppermint oil capsules and Gas-X which all help with various UC symptoms during a flare.

yes, we did buy the serves our purposes....unfortunately, the alarm part, the volume does not go down low enough (i'd prefer a vibrate so that it wouldn't wake my husband )...this one sounds like an elephant is quick and short, though, but when said parent can get up betw 3-5x a night, it can get a bit annoying. I honestly was hoping samsung still sold their baby monitor that was also motion was perfect with a vibrating noise (my daughter in law had it and i was there when it worked)
i'm sorry if this was not a good enough answer for you. this whole process is so frustrating....i don't see how there cant be a company out there that makes what we need@

The last week-week and half, my mom has done this as well. I have been smashing them all (mortar and pestle) except one for thyroid....try to get her to take it, she drinks the water, but pill doesn't go down....slowly it disappears or she finally chews it....had to take out the stool softener pill....put them in some warm applesauce or peaches and feed them to her like that...good luck.
