Is there anyone else out there suffering with these annoying heart flutters just about everyday!?! I want to believe these heart tests were all right about my heart being healthy but this is the number one reason for my anxiety! Sometimes it's only one a day sometimes it's a few .. But I almost think I never go a day without one! I stopped my Prilosec a few months ago n they have calmed down a lot since but I still get some n I just think I'm going to die from a heart issue one day.. Such a horrible worry to worry about everyday I absolutely hate it. I mean I am under stress and I do have my one cup of cold coffee in the mornings because I'm up from 530am for work until about 10-1030 at night after I get my kids to bed then I can so I need that little oomph from a lil bit of caffeine!! But I don't honestly see much of a difference on days that I don't drink it. This is just something I need to talk with other ppl about that have these too because those who I do know that get them, act like it's no big deal, then here's me panicking over them. I don't wish these on anyone cuz they're so scary to me but I hope I'm not the only one who feels this way )-:

I go through periods of getting them every day. Sometimes one a day, sometimes 5 or more. This can last months but usually it slows down at some point. I definetły go through phases with it. My doctor explained it to me and told me they are harmless so now I don't even give them the time of day anymore.

Hang in there! If your doctor checked you out and told you they are harmless you really do have nothing to fear :)

lacey-
I get palpitations every day too, and like cianna, I also go through phases where there are more and then there are less. Right now I am in the MORE phase. They scare me too, a ton. Sometimes I get 3 a minute. And like you, I am scared that I will some day die of an undiagnosed heart issue. In fact, today I had an emotional breakdown and cried for hours about these darn things.

The best thing to do is to find a support network, whether that is friends or family or a counselor is up to you. Have someone you can talk to when you are having who can talk some sense to you when you are feeling defeated. I use my husband in this situation, I cry, pout, and explain how scared I am, and he reinforces the doctor's wisdom that they are harmless.

It is so hard. I really feel for you on this. I am going through the same troubles. :(

about 6 years ago i started with heart flutters. Some would be once, somedays would be more than 10. This was also everyday like yours. it also worried me and i had all the heart tests available.

The doc told me to cut all coffee and caffeine drinks and pit me on anxiety meds.

Low and behold they stopped and havent been back since

God i miss that morning coffee but not the heart flutters!

I found that taking CoQ10 worked miracles for me. Read up on it and how it's done wonders for people with heart issues. You might want to give it a try. Certainly helped me.

I have also experienced periods of the heart flutters, skipped beats, etc. I've been checked out multiple times and told they're nothing to worry about. I've had them almost non stop for days on end and I've months without any. Stress, too much caffeine and overeating are triggers for me. I used to get really scared, but don't give them the time of day anymore and they eventually stop. I know how very hard it is to try and ignore them, especially in a phase where they won't quite, but it will help to not worry.
