The First and Only Prescription Medical Food Product for Managing IBS-D & IBD: EnteraGam®

Manage Your Condition with EnteraGam®

If you suffer from abdominal discomfort, bloating, or chronic diarrhea due to irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhea (IBS-D) or Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), you already know that you often have to change your plans or miss out altogether. These life-disrupting symptoms are the hallmark of IBS-D and IBD. 1-2

EnteraGam® is a prescription medical food product for the dietary management of specific intestinal disorders including IBS-D and IBD, so it could help you avoid having to plan your days around symptoms.3

Simple, Safe, and Unique

EnteraGam® is completely different from other therapies because it uniquely addresses the underlying factors that can cause symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhea and inflammatory bowel disease. In a clinical study, people who took EnteraGam® experienced fewer days per week with loose stools and other IBS-D-related symptoms, including abdominal discomfort and bloating. 4

EnteraGam® is safe, well tolerated, and can be taken along with other therapies that your doctor has prescribed. There have been no reported interactions with any other medications and no reports of serious side effects. Plus, you can take EnteraGam® as long as you want, unlike antibiotics that can only be taken for short periods of time. 5

There is no generic prescription product to substitute for it and no over-the-counter (OTC) product like it.

Taking EnteraGam® is Easy!

EnteraGam® is a simple powder that can be easily mixed into water or another liquid that you like, such as a fruit punch-flavored drink. Mix (but do not shake) the entire packet of EnteraGam® with at least 4 ounces of fluid (unless otherwise instructed by your doctor). Then drink all of the contents immediately.

You can also mix EnteraGam® with a favorite soft food, such as pudding or yogurt. Then consume immediately.

Some people notice improvement with EnteraGam® in as little as 2 to 4 weeks. If you do not see results as quickly, talk to your doctor. Everyone is different. Your doctor may decide to change or increase your dose of EnteraGam®. For best results, take EnteraGam® exactly as your doctor has prescribed.

How EnteraGam® Works

Research shows that unhealthy changes in the lining of the intestine may contribute to IBS-D and IBD symptoms 6-7. EnteraGam® has been shown in studies to restore a stable environment in the gut 8. It works differently than products that provide short-term relief of symptoms.
