1/2006 - HealingWell.com enters its' 10th year online. Actual 10 year anniversary of launch is coming in September. Details forthcoming. Launch of 2006 Fundraising Drive to celebrate the decade of support.

12/2005 - 2005 Fundraising Drive reaches 75% of it's annual goal for the year. Thanks to over 100 supporters that gave so generously.

6/2005 - Launch of new Clinical Resources section, which features medical journal articles, industry news, and wire releases on clinical and healthcare topics.  Community (forum & chat) membership reaches over 17,000.

5/2005 - Debut of the HealingWell.com Shop where you can get official t-shirts, gear and fun stuff.

05/2004 - Chat rooms relaunched, now integrated with the community forums. You must be a registered forum member to use the chat feature.

12/2003 - WellnessBooks.com relaunched, the official HealingWell.com online bookstore. Offers expanded categories, book reviews and more details, and the ability to make purchases from our affiliate partner Amazon.com.

3/2003 - GERD-Heartburn Resource Center launched. Includes community forum and chat, video webcasts, informative articles and resources and much more.

12/2002 - HealingWell.com was featured in the December 2002 U.S. issue of Reader's Digest magazine (p. 186) in an article about online health support.

06/2002 - Launch of Health e-Cards (discontinued in 2005). These personalized greeting cards allow you to send your family members and friends useful health information--all produced by health professionals and featuring medical experts.

05/2002 - Many new articles added to the HealingWell Library, with topics ranging from coping with chronic illness to health disorders such as allergies, anxiety and irritable bowel syndrome.

12/2001 - Video Webcasts feature makes its debut, offering doctor produced video webcasts, available free to all visitors. Also features hundreds of articles on disease-topics.

10/2001 - HealingWell.com was featured in a new book by the medical correspondent on NBC's Today Show, Dr. Ian Smith's Guide to Medical Websites. The review describes HealingWell as an "information-packed" and "professional yet friendly site". We couldn't agree more!

06/2001 - HealingWell.com highlighted by a major media publication, Forbes.com Best of the Web Magazine (Summer 2001 Issue).

04/2001 - First major press release is released about redesigned site and rapid traffic and membership growth experienced over the past year.  HealingWell Newsletter launches.

03/2001 - Redesigned web site launched.  Includes global navigation features and better integrated content and services.  Relaunched site offers an expanded selection of articles, medical news, and links on many more health conditions, as well as improved community and search services.

10/2000 - Launch of Resource Directory, includes links to some of the web's best resources on a wide range of diseases and conditions. 

07/2000 - New message forum/chat room topics added: Attention Deficit Disorder and Bipolar Disorder. 

06/2000 - Many new articles added about everything from food allergies to panic attacks.  Weekly chat schedule posted on main community calendar.

05/2000 - Community message forums and chat rooms relaunched making them easier to read and more accessible, with many new features, including colored text in chat rooms.  Integrated site search also added, enabling visitors to search hundreds of pages of articles and information. 

04/2000 - New site design completed, featuring new graphics, faster downloads, and easier navigation.  Library feature added, which makes it easier than ever to find feature articles and more on disease/disorder topics. 

03/2000 - HealingWell.com ranked in the top 100 health web sites by Go2Net's 100hot.com. New disease topic resource center's added: Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Lyme Disease.  

02/2000 - Community message forums, chat rooms, and search launched. 

01/2000 - HealingWell.com newsletter launched. 

07/1999 - HealingWell.com moves to its new domain and shifts its disease/disorder resource centers to the new web site.

05/1999 - Launch of official HealingWell bookstore, WellnessBooks.com, an Amazon.com affiliate, a portion of profits support HealingWell.com.  Partnership with Amazon ensures secure transactions and a broad selection of books on diseases, disorders and chronic illness.

09/1996 - HealingWell.com originates as a combination of various disease/disorder resource centers, hosted on AOL.  Initial topics include Crohn's Disease, Irritable Bowel, Arthritis, Anxiety and Depression.
