LOL - I hear ya Mom! But, seriously, I'm so glad I just got that darn scope over and done with - even with all the tears, panic, and embarrassment it caused along the way. You'll feel better knowing that stress is off your head once it is over.
I called a friend yesterday....we spoke for over an hour. While I was on the phone with her, with her urging, I took some medicine - for the chest cold and for the attack (which, oddly I realized I was actually having an asthma attack and I have already been clued in the asthma is being caused by GI issues...so all I did was take a Zantac 150 for it...ridiculous! But nice that it was so easy to cure!) She said if I had a bad night to call her at any time, that helped knowing she'd be on alert. By the time I hung up with her, the medicine had kicked in and I occupied my mind with stuff until I felt much better and more in the evening to ensure(hope) I didn't have issues when I went to bed.
Well, let's hope we both have a better few days! I have to work today, but I"m hoping for a slow and easy one since my coughing and congestion is no fun. I'm also FINALLY going to go get a haircut today at 11. Trying a new stylist that is closer to home....I've been overdue for a cut for a LONG time! It'll be nice to get out of the house and do something for me. I've been holed up here by myself all week.
