Hi, I was diagnosed about 3 yrs ago, i was on holiday lying round the pool n something popped in my legs...legs swelled and didn't go down for at least a month! Ever since the i have had lil bouts, ive had three cortizone injections thro a rhematolgist, which fixes all my symptoms straight away (, aching fingers, wrists, back, ankles, n the worse is knees and pumping feeling in my legs) To keep it abay for about a year, i know when i need to go to the gym, as my knees niggle,i've lost lots of weight n toned my legs around the affected areas lots! My doctor seems to think that when i get run down, (over done the partying) my tonsils flare up....I once had tonsilitis so he seems to think that's what start my RA off....or could it be a woman's area prob, of which i had an operation for an STD abt 6yrs ago.....i would really like to find out what triggers it, so i can help the area that's affected n weak, but where to start??? I've not had a bad bout which puts me out for 3 days like right now, for about a year...i really don't want to keep taking steriods as i'm only 30 yrs old!!! In the new year i want to look for a new job, but scared as i hate the thought of my RA effecting me doing this and taking time off sick! I really want to look into Homepathy or maybe Acupucture, has anyone done of these if so has it worked??? I just want to help prevent it until it's too late.....which upto now i thought exercise was keeping it abay for me.... Would really really love to hear from you all n your sucess stories, as i'm feeling very fed up with it right now!!

Many thanks, xx
