Well, thursday morning I woke up with my eye all swollen and looking like a candy cane.  Or, looking like I lost a bar fight-you decide which analagy you like better.  After two doctors and two pharmasys I called my Rhuemy and told her I had Uvetiits. Should have been end of story.
Friday morning I woke up and both my hands and feet were swollen and painfull by the end of the evening even my hair hurt.
I self medicated (I always said one of the two best things about my rhuemy is that prednisone scripts come with refills) with ten mgs prednisone per day.  Could not call my rhuemy until today as this is the first time I have been home while her office is open.  She put me back on Sulindac-despite what happened last time I took that with MTX and prilosec. She left me on Prednisone and told me that she will probably up my MTX at our next appointment.  Maybe she will put my plaq back up to two a day as well though she did not mention that.
I am on too many meds.
Did I mention my last Rhuemy appointment was only three weeks ago and I was doing so well she cut my plaq and scheduled our next appointment for three months instead of our usual 8 weeks.
Thank you for listening to me whine-I think I will stop now.

I am sorry to hear that your arthritis has progressed into such a horrible situation for you. I hope you and your rhuemy can figure out a regime of medications to help you out. I am only new to this arthritis stuff so cannot really give you any input except to tell you I hope the best for you soon.!
((gentle hugs)) take care. May the new year bring you less pain/difficulties and Lots of happiness.
