Hi all today I dont think I have any part of my body thats not sore or swollen, I have been on methotrexate for a while now and recently added humira to the mix so I have only had 3 humira injections so far I really hope it kicks in soon cause I dont know how much longer I can deal with this pain. Also I have had the worst cough, feeling extremely lathargic going into sweats, I have been coughing so much that my chest is hurting and I am short of breath. So I think a trip to the doc will be in order in the morning. I really dont need this right now, my joints are so sore. Had so much happening with my sick father as well. I so wish things would get better soon. Anyway Im off to bed for much needed sleep, just needed to vent a little. Thanks for listening. take care

Hi Doreen, nice to meet you....I just wish it was under better circumstances! I was just dx'd with RA by my PCP and still waiting to see a rheumy (I go next Wednesday) so I am not taking anything for the RA yet, except steroids. I do have bad lower back problems and take pain meds for that, but they sure don't seem to help the RA pain much! I am very sorry you are feeling so badly right now and that your father is sick! It always seem to happen like that.. you feel the worst when you are needed! I hope that some thing starts helping for you soon! I can really relate because I seem to be having a bad day today, also. Do you seem to get a lot of chest colds with RA? I have been reading a lot about it since I found out I had it, and it seems that is pretty much the norm! I have had a really dry cough lately and just feel cruddy, like I am running a slight fever too! All I want to do is sleep, but hurt so much that I can't! Anyway, here's hoping we both get to feeling better!

Take care of you!

Andorable- sorry to hear you are feeling very poorly on top of suffering with stress from your father's illness...they always run hand in hand. Hope things take a turn for the better quickly.
Glad to hear you have an appt. with a dr. because MTX & Humira can cause those respiratory problems you are having....
Let us know how you make out and all the best to you in feeling well soon.
