Hi Jade i Feel for you,i'm now 50 and on the Bright side You have a Diagnosis many people me included go Years before they Know i was about
16 when i couldn't get out of bed for 3 weeks Everything Ached they put it down to Exhaustion,then in my 20's i got Mono? then again and again till finally in my mid 30's Diagnosed RA and it is So right you can't fight what you don't know,you can now arm yourself with All the info you can get to fight with.and sites like this are the best start i wish i had found this years ago,you Will have days where you crawl up and Cry But you will also have Good days Happy and care free you will learn a New Name for Normal it will be "your Normal" Starting medication younger and sooner is So Good and hay just look at us here we may whinge but we also Laugh you will Too.. Use Everything they offer you Do not go it alone.
As for Accepting it i thought i had years ago but recently i have had some bad Flare ups and using a lot of health workers OT Physio,Cardiac,Doctors, Rhumy's Every Day and all of a sudden it was like i'd just been Diagnosed all over again and i sat down and said No Way i don't want this,so Acceptance will come and go Depending on you and the circumstance at the time and the best way is Hay i Couldn't go back and live yesterday even if it was the Best Day ever,it's gone,Today is what it is and so i Gotta Deal with it as best i can .

Cimzia, Metheltrexate,Tramal 200mg(twice Day),Prednisone,Diabetes.
