I had some tremors/shaking tonight, I wonder if its weather related as we are going to be up and down with weather this week. Might also be diabetic related, my mom would get shakes as she calls them...
So maybe start a journal and then let your doctor know at your visit next month.
Many well wishes and I hope you do not have MS...

Oh Crap Bad- I don't like the sounds of that!

I have a tremor in my ring finger sometimes and I have days when I just can't articulate. I fear MS too.
But my complaints don't equate to yours and I think mine might be stress related. I've been feeling overwhelmed lately.

Please alert your doctor to these new symptoms. No sense fooling around-let them know so they can tell you everything is fine to put your mind at rest or do some tests and treat what ever is ailing you.

I wish you all the best!

H I've told my GP he did a brain scan didn't show anything but he said he didn't expect anything

as an MRI is what he wants done but a specialist has to order that

but he cant get me into a neurologist till end January

Today I went to the Respiratory Dr about the Oxygen & Cpap treatments im on

that was a Long day and I had 11 am Appt that went till about 12.45 then I had to go back to him at 4pm and that lasted till about 5.30

and I was sitting there my face Twitching & when I got home hands shaking

so doing O2 Levels tonight so sleeping without Oxygen - Not looking forward to that

Seriously I have read MS Symptoms and out of 10 of them I have 10

I know people say oh Dr Google you think you have everything but I Don't do that

if anything I tend to talk myself out of things But this is getting Worse by the day Especially when its Hot or im Tired

Prayers for you, but will hope it's not MS. I have a few doctors that think I have MS, but then the tests are not conculsive enough and my spinal tap was botched because I was on Methotrexate. If they want a spinal tap let them know your on methotrexate, you need to be off methotrexate for 6, yes 6 Months...
I also, was rare in that I needed two blood patches after that as well.
Wish you could've gotten into a neuro sooner, but a 2 month wait is not too bad. document everything. or start a journal...they do need to get a clear cut test for MS so a diagnosis can be made.

I'm sorry you're having a tough time, BadDay.

One thing I've learned is to ask the doctor's office to put me on the "cancellation list". I got into my rheumatologist in less than a week (when they were scheduling over a month out) because I was able to show up for a time when another patient had cancelled his/her appointment.

Hi Bad,

Wow you have had a rough time lately. Lets hope its caused by the lack of oxygen rather than MS. Does your rheumy think MS? they are pretty cluey at times, plus they are very cautious of side effects from the meds we are on.

Heart goes out to you though, you have enough on your plate without more diseases popping up.

I'm just majorly lethargic lately, hard to get going and acheive things.

But best wishes, January seems forever away. golitho

How frustrating!- can you get on a cancellation list? That's what I did when I wanted a 2nd opinion rhuemy.
Maybe Go's right- oxygen deprivation can be the cause...
When you have several health issues doctors should communicate with one another. I know it sounds like it should be common sense for them-but maybe you should list their names, specialty & phone numbers and demand that they all speak to each other in regard to your various symptoms. After all they do work for you.
It's a shame when you feel so sick and you have to do a doctors thinking for them.....

I agree with weary, seems like you need all your doctors talking to each other...as communication can play a role in all this. maybe take the wait see approach to see if the oxygen deprivation cause some of this. I know how frustrating this all can be and pushing for an answer is not always good either. maybe the wait will give you time to take notes and journal what is happening. I know it's frustrating, your preaching to the choir on here about that as I can truly relate and understand. I finally got to the point where I wrote my RA doctor and said just stop. and I went off my medication (MTX) as I came down with an infection and was so worn out. That two week break did a world of good and I'm finally starting to feel better and plan to have an easy holiday.
You can also do a symptom checker on webmd, but like I said the best possible thing you can do is to start writing in a journal of like if you fell that day or got dizzy this day, ect...it'll help to pinpoint a cause...auto immunes can also cause some of this sjogrens can wreck havoc with a body as well and it can effect the nerves. I really hope this helps. Sjogrens can also effect the eye's...Sjogrens can mimic MS in so many ways...Try not to panic, try to get on a cancellations list and write a journal and then come here and vent away...then maybe also get an appointment with an Internist for getting everything better coordinated. I'm really only trying to help...and care a ot about what your going through it is rough and I know the test you'll be facing..so just trying to help...your a good person and I hope your doing better soon.

BadDay, I've also had problems with tremors. Mostly, the hands and feet. It comes and goes too. I had an MRI of my head too and it was fine. I am going to see my PCP in a week to discuss this. I have a new rheumy since we moved a year ago and they are not so great. I trust my PCP more. I am trying to get back on plaquenil as I went off over a year ago thinking that it wasn't working. My flares come and go and I was doing well up until the weather changed this fall.

I hope you find out why you are having tremors. It's a very strange feeling.
