Hi my friends. I'll make this short & sweet. I've seen a rheumatologist in the past 6 months who said no to rheumatoid arthritis. My GP then referred me to a pain specialist (best Dr ever)!
My pain Dr said he's very confident that I have inflammatory rheumatoid arthritis and gave me a prescript
ion to add to my Nucynta. I was taking 50mg of nucynta 3/daily. The new med was called Suboxone. Unfortunately, my insurance company declined the coverage saying there's not enough evidence that this med works!!!!
darn, my Dr was excited to get me started on Suboxone.
Instead, my Dr gave me 100mg CR of nucynta as apposed to the 50mg IR I was taking before.
I need to know if anyones taking 100mg CR nucynta & is it helping your pain?
I can't seem to control the swelling in my hands, knees & feet.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry I can't answer about
this medication, However, you should try getting another RA doctor. If a RA condition is suspected then it's best to have a good RA doctor on your team trying to better help your pain.
Also, when you go for your eye exam make sure to let your eye doctor know of this as RA can affect the eye's...I've got first hand experience on that and sure wish I didn't...
Many well wishes
