Hi Guys I haven't posted for a while Hope everyone is getting along as best they can
I recently went to a Neurologist to try to find the cause to my constant Shaking and it gets worse if I try to hurry i hate going shopping & the checkout girl gives me change I end up throwing it everywhere when I try to put it in my purse in a hurry
he did a heap of blood tests some of which I haven't got the results back yet and others came back 'to Quote My Local Doctor' - No Different to what he expected for someone with Auto Immune Issues)
I had a follow up sleep study done to see if my Cpap and Oxygen is giving me the right coverage as the Neuro said that could be a cause. Well that was a cufuddle first they changed my appointment then told me I didn't need to bring my mask or (as the info sheet said do not use my cpap for 3 days prior) as I wasn't having a review it was a sleep study - so I kept using it & didn't take my mask
then when I got there she said Where is my mask ?? I told her & she said oh no you are here for review !!! So I had to use one of their masks , So I'm not sure how that will go
so anyway I am then booked to have an eeg when I go back to Neuro in May
( Has anyone here had one done ? )
So till Then I just Keep Shaking shocked

And Remember I Broke my Foot nearly 2 years ago now Well it is getting Worse so had Another Xray done on Wednesday I get that result when I go back to Doctor on Tuesday he said if he can't see anything he will do a Bone scan next But it is getting So bad I Cant walk on it intense Pain in the Top of my foot the podiatrist said she can feel Arthritis in there But this is Worse pain than the type I get in my hand or even the RA I have in the other foot so need to find out .
and otherwise my Hip is Ridiculous again But I don't want to get Another Steroid injection inot it as it really didn't do much other than Hurt last time.
Woops Sorry this has Turned into a Blog instead of a Post hasn't it

Hi Badday, I haven't checked in for a while either. Sorry to hear about the shaking that doesn't sound like any fun at all. I wonder if it might have something to do with the fibromyalgia? Isn't that a neurological disease?

I can relate on the foot pain. Have you ever had RA flares in the top of your foot above the arch? There are a bunch of joints in there and I have had lots of swelling and inflammation in them and when it comes I can hardly put any weight on it at all it hurts so bad. Forget about walking anywhere, it isn't happening.

I hope you feel better soon, or at least get a respite from it all. Maybe have a few more spoons available to spend too.

Take care and happy blogging! smile

BadDay, Sorry you've had a rough day already. u've you considered that the shaking might be from a medication? Maybe the lyrica?? I'd look that up. I've heard other drugs in the family can cause tremors.

Gee, I'm sorry that you have been going through so much lately BadDay. Isn't it always something with RA? I know that it's exhausting going to the Dr's and for tests but I'm glad that they are trying to help you anyways. Did you get any more results back yet?

I haven't had any shaking experiences except the 2 times I had panic attacks and from the low blood sugars from Diabetes. Ask the cashiers to put the change, etc. in your purse for you. That must be annoying as heck.

The last time you had the Steroid shot in your hip, did you get it in the back or did they give it in the front of the hip nearer to the groin? The last time I got it in the back and it didn't work barely at all. This time I was skepical but they gave me the S shot in the front, right in the socket, I think he said. I found that it worked much better this time. I had the S shot in my knee in Sept. but it started hurting like heck in Jan., I believe. And I found out why. sad

Yes, I had an EEG done once many eons ago. It was embarrassing having to carry all those wires over my shoulder when I went down to the Cafeteria. Thank God, there were 3 other ladies for the same test. So we all had fun teasing each other and we didn't worry about others. No one else said anything to us. Don't worry the wires used, are much fewer and thinner than back then, in most hospitals.

Hopefully, you get good results back and they will be able to fix your problems up easier than you think.

If you consider yours a blog, then it is the shortest one that I've ever read. Feel Better Soon. smile
